Author Biography

Lúcio Craveiro da Silva, Jubilated Full Professor at University of Minho

Lúcio Craveiro da Silva was the President of the Cultural Council of University of Minho since 1985 and was a member of the University Senate and Assembly until his death in 2007, two years after the publication of this manuscript.
Member of the 1st National Commission for the Evaluation of International Relations Courses in 1997.
Director of the Faculty of Philosophy of Braga from 1952-1958, 1971-1976 and 1986-1994.
Rector of the University of Minho from September 1, 1981 to November 27, 1984.
Was the founder of the 1st International Relations Higher Course established in Portugal in 1975 at University of Minho.
Ph.D. in Social Philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy of Oña (Spain) in 1951. He has authored several books in the fields of Philosophy and Humanities, having published over two hundred articles.
